Field Service Management

Being able to create a "Service Type" basically a customizable button drop down and still have the summary if someone needs to add a custom detail. To see this color coded or flagged differently from other jobs would be helpful. For example, my business focuses on 3 major types of services in the field. Servicing fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and installing fire safety lights and signs. Being able to see this to schedule some unscheduled jobs in work view would help out a lot!

This would be for work orders that need to be scheduled and have some details ready for future scheduling or coming up very soon. Basically open work orders that are sitting on the side and not in the calendar.

Phone numbers are automatically formatted as (xxx) xxx xxxx. Therefore, when searching for a phone number, if the parentheses () aren't typed into the search box, the system will not locate the contact/phone number. For example, if I simply search for xxx xxx xxxx, the system won't find the contact because I omitted the parentheses. It's a pain in the butt when you're quickly trying to search for a contact, and it's a pain in the butt to train all staff to remember the parentheses. It would be fantastic if the system could locate the contact simply based on a xxx xxx xxxx search parameter.

Hey, is there any chance you guys could allow certain paragraphs in the notes to be highlighted? That would really help customers be aware of important installation issues or anything that comes up that they need to clearly understand.

Make the the colors that show on the calendar for the "Confirmation Status" changeable or at least make them distinguishable from one another. Right now the greens used for "finished" & "completed" are so close that they are hard to tell apart at first glance. It would be better if the user could choose the colors of their liking or at least have completely different colors for each status.

The ability to send SMS through desktop would allow admin to send confirmation notifications to clients of newly scheduled appointments, possibly send follow up quality of service questions if there was automation involved to send after a completed job.

WE HAVE DONE THIS WITH SAGE IN THE PAST AND IT WAS AWESOME.
