Absolutely. I wonder if there might even be a way for SB to create links on the customer portal to the QBO invoices? Thank might even make things easier on them to do implementation. Just display on the Customer Portal a link to all invoices. That way, all invoicing and online payment is accomplished through QBO.
Any thoughts from SB staff on this?

Yes this needs to be done 2 years ago. Every other company I deal with has this feature as do our competitors. It needs to be tied to invoices in SB/QBO so the customer pays the correct amount. I get requests from my customers daily, much more secure than taking a card number over the phone.

Hi, good ideas. We have a long list of improvements for Customer Portal. The first thing what we are planning to release this year is to provide the ability for Customer Portal users not only to request new estimates but to accept or to decline a finished estimate providing additional details.
The payments module for Customer Portal is on our roadmap and we definitely will have this functionality available, but it is not on the priorities list at this moment.
While online payments are not available via Customer Portal, we recommend connecting Authorize.Net or Vantiv payment providers to your ServiceBridge account to have the ability to store credit cards as Payment Profiles on a customer record. Payment Profile is securely stored credit card information at payment provider side, while ServiceBridge gives the ability to charge the card not having it in the hand.
Additionally, the Payment Profiles can be created using the ServiceBridge mobile application if a credit card reader is connected. This solved completely the need to take a card number over the phone.
ServiceBridge supports the "IDTech Shuttle Two-Track Secure MagStripe Reader" reader at this moment.

We are using Authorize.net for payments in the field taken by a technician, but when the final invoice is sent, many times the customer wants to pay with a credit card. The only way they can do this is to call the office and read their number to the office staff who enters in in the payment profile and then calls up the invoise and applies the given amopunt to the invoice.
